Listening to Music at Work

I don’t really mind what kind of music is playing when I’m at work as long as it’s not silent in the office. I get less work done if it is completely silent, I think it’s more distracting then a little background noise. A new site that I just found and love now that we are all listening to our own music instead of community radio is deezer. You can make selections of music that you would like to listen to and deezer begins building a playlist of artists who are not famous to pair with the music you have selected. It doesn’t hesitate in between songs or take a long time to load and their music database covers a lot of different types of music.

Nickelback Signed with Live Nation

Nickelback joined signed with Live Nation joining other artists like Madonna, Jay-Z, and Shakira.  The new contract is estimated to be worth 50-70 million.  Nickelback still owes their current label, Roadrunner Records, 2 albums before they can begin recording for Live Nation.
